About Us
The Sydney Coordinated Adaptive Traffic System (SCATS) was developed by the NSW Government Department of Main Roads in NSW in 1975 and was one of the first adaptive control systems to be available commercially. Over the past 40 years SCATS has established a reputation as being a global leader in intelligent traffic control. SCATS has been installed at more than 63,000 intersections across 216 cities and 32 countries worldwide.
